Short Description of Instrument |
The Karnofsky Perfomance Status Scale is an assessment of patient's functional status, from normal to dead. The scale assesses items such as signs and symptoms of disease, activity level, ability, assistance required and hospitalization.

Scoring |
The scale is scored from 0 to 100 in units of 10. A higher score indicates better functional ability.
