Short Description of Instrument |
The Family History Research Diagnostic Criteria (FHRDC) is an instrument that collects family history information and provides criteria for 12 diagnoses.
Sport-Related Concussion Specific: Determination of family psychiatric history. Rating is summarized on a scale from 0 to 3. Ratings for first degree only and combined with second degree relatives. Appears to have increased sensitivity than other methods to acquire family history. It describes specific operational criteria for determining diagnosis. It has a low diagnostic threshold so it can affect reliability.

Psychometric Properties |
Using specific diagnostic criteria leads to greater accuracy and sensitivity, but underreporting remains a major problem of this method.
