Short Description of Instrument |
Purpose: This is a self-report scale for adults to help in evaluating adults with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.
Description: The ASRS is a six-item self-report scale for adults. An 18-item rating scale is available to aid health care professionals in the evaluation of adults with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. It is intended to provide supplemental information to aid in a diagnosis. The scale is rated on a five-point scale ranging from "never" to "very often", with some of the questions identified as maybe being consistent with Adult ADHD.
Comment: The scale was developed in conjunction with the World Health Organization and the Workgroup on Adult ADHD.
Primary Dependent Measures: Part A score, Part B score.
