Short Description of Instrument
The Children's Affective Lability Scale (CALS) contains twenty items and assesses affect regulation. It is completed by the child's parent.
 
Scoring
Twenty items are answered on a five-level (0 to 4) scale for a total possible score ranging from 0 to 80. Lower scores indicate less affective lability.
